CPI Update
On 22 April 2009 the Australian Bureau of Statistics announced a Consumer Price Index (CPI) change of -0.18% for the September 2008 to March 2009 period. To arrive at that figure, the following calculation was made:

× 100 | = CPI change (Sept 08 to Mar 09) |

× 100 | = -0.1801801% |
| = -0.18% (when rounded to the nearest tenth of one per cent) | ||
Therefore on payday 2 July 2009, your MilitarySuper pension will not be increased.
