Tracking Your Investment

Investment Returns

Contributions and transfers from other superannuation funds made to MilitarySuper, whilst you are employed with the ADF, purchase units in the investment option you have selected. The number of units purchased by your contributions or transfers depends on the unit price at the time. Units are redeemed when amounts are needed to make super payments.

Unit prices are calculated daily and fluctuate according to the investment performance of the individual investment strategy. The value of your Member Account at any time is the number of units you hold in the Fund multiplied by their price at the time.

Your latest Member Statement shows how many units you have and their price at 30 June 2007.

Prior to 1 July 2002 the crediting rate was the final rate of interest determined by the MSB Board for a financial year. As a result of the introduction of unitisation on 1 July 2002, the crediting rate was replaced by daily unit prices.
